Associate Director APEM Ireland - Freshwater
Competitive salary plus benefits
Deadline for applications: 24th May 2021
Can you help us?
We need your skills and experience to help our Director further grow and develop an already vibrant business here at APEM Ireland.
Only 6 months on from first opening our doors here in Sept 2020, we’ve already secured a number of contracts and the services of three additional staff. It’s also abundantly clear that there is a lot of work to be won here in Ireland; your addition to my team, supported by the wider skills and experience of the whole APEM Business, can really help with that.
Want to make your mark? What to really have a say in how a business grows and develops, the direction it takes and the clients it works for? If that is you, then this is the job for you too!
APEM was born out of the University of Manchester in the 1990s and is a vibrant, dynamic and rapidly growing company. Indeed, APEM is Europe’s leading independent environmental consultancy, specialising in terrestrial, freshwater and marine ecology, and aerial surveys. We offer our clients an integrated approach to the investigation and management of freshwater catchments and terrestrial and marine habitats, based on sound science. Our consultants are recognised experts in their fields, and as a company we pride ourselves on our commitment to scientific rigour and an excellent service in finding and providing solutions to our clients.
APEM is a highly reputable company, renowned for our quality and long list of trusted clients, who once secured, provide repeat business year after year, trusting us to deliver a high-quality service at a fair price.
We are proud to be an inclusive company, with people as one of the key pillars that our strategy is built upon. We stand for equality for all. As such we welcome applications from all individuals regardless of race, age, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion or belief.
Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, 2020 was a big year for APEM and the company continued to grow and expand, including through the opening of an office in Ireland, based in Cork. In 2021, we will continue our ambitions for growth and innovation.
About the role
We are recruiting an AD as an essential part of a team to work with and support the Divisional Director, already in place, and to consolidate the foundations already laid for APEM Ireland. With several projects already won, numerous connections with interested parties secured and a number of major submissions already made to key clients, as well as a place on four consultancy frameworks, APEM Ireland is well set for 2021. We are now looking to add a capable, experienced and motivated AD as part of our growing team and business in Ireland.
