About the role
With continued growth through the last months, APEM are looking for an enthusiastic Image Processing/Data Analyst to support the delivery of data projects. This is an interesting, exciting opportunity to work with a highly respected Environmental Consultancy, working as part of the Data Operations Team. The purpose of the role is to support in the preparation and delivery of data projects via a combination data (image) processing and analysis.
We are looking for a individual with a dynamic and enthusiastic approach, along with the ability to process data (images) to a high standard in a busy environment. The right candidate will deal with a high volume of environmental digital imagery. The basic understanding of geospatial data, and some experience handling large datasets is required. Excellent collaboration with the data scientists will be expected along with the ability to spot and report data-related issues. The ability to prioritise workload is essential as well as to work to tight deadlines both independently and part of the team.
Providing well-cared detailed reports.
Careful and systematic recording of data to a high standard.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams).
Basic GIS knowledge is required.
A STEM or computer background would be desirable.
Basic understanding of computer hardware.
Ability to handling large datasets.
Problem solving is key.
