Nicola has responsibility for the company’s fisheries engineering and marine ecology teams as well as the South Wales office. Nicola has specialised in fisheries engineering, migratory and estuarine fish dynamics and marine ecology in general throughout her career. Nicola is well known for her fish entrainment and screening expertise within the UK having been directly involved with the development of best practice guidance, the organisation of a specialist UK conference and the production of numerous papers on the subject. Nicola is involved in all areas of marine ecology technical consultancy and has extensive experience of undertaking all types of environmental assessment including EIA’s, HRA’s and SEA’s. Notably she was lead for the migratory and estuarine fish topic for the DECC Severn Tidal Power study, including presenting information to the government’s chief scientist.
