Hannah has a particular focus on the Water Framework Directive, water resources, drought and hydro-power studies. With nine years’ of technical experience in hydrology, hydro-ecology and water quality assessments, she has been the technical lead for a range of WFD studies into the environmental and ecological implications of abstraction, including assessment and design of flow regimes downstream of impoundments. She has a detailed knowledge of surface water hydrology including both lake and river systems. Hannah is also APEM’s lead in plume modelling and drought permit assessment. She manages a team of freshwater scientists and is an active member of the CIWEM North West committee.
